Important Sites to Review

Folks should also review these two sites, for ideas about authentic
assessment and how students can show what they have learned, in meaningful
ways. I'd like folks to be considering the following two questions (see
below) as they look at these sites. This may help them think about their
units.

1) Why is this unit going to really matter for kids? What is the big idea/life
lesson behind it?, and

2) How might they (kids) use something in this unit
as a platform to solve a problem in their world?

Lastly, remember that instead of having their Enduring
Understandings and Essential Questions defined, I would like you to come
back, in June, with something broader to begin with. I would like you to
come back with a unit idea!
